A Welcome Message from the President

The EWGA's (Executive Women's Golf Association) mission is connecting women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and for fun.

2009 marks the 15th anniversary of the Central New Jersey Chapter, and our Chapter Board Members are committed to making this a banner year for us. This year, as in previous years, we will be offering a variety of golf outings, clinics, leagues, social events, and informal golf for both new and seasoned golfers.

The official start of the Central New Jersey Chapter’s 2009 season is our Tee Off Brunch on March 29th at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course, at which we have arranged for a special guest speaker, Sherri McDonald – star of the Golf Channel’s Big Break X – Michigan.

In addition to golf, our Chapter has a tradition of getting involved with national and local charities. Our Invitational Golf Outing at Battleground Country Club will be a “Rally for the Cure” event. In April, we will again participate in a Habitat for Humanity home building day in Somerset County.

With all the challenges we face in recent months, the Central New Jersey Chapter remains a stable, welcoming entity where our members can enjoy the camaraderie and support of friends and fellow golfers. 

The Central New Jersey Chapter, like all EWGA Chapters, is run by volunteer leaders. The Chapter is what we all make it, and I invite all members to get involved in our Chapter and help make the 15th year our most successful season! All Chapter Leaders have committees and would welcome the input and involvement of you, our members.

As Chapter President, I also welcome your input and ideas for making the Central New Jersey Chapter successful.
